Executive Fliteways Acquires ExcelAire!

Executive Fliteways (EFI), headquartered at Long Island MacArthur Airport (KISP), is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of ExcelAire Services, also based at KISP. This strategic growth move further solidifies EFI’s position as a premier player in the private jet management industry, enhancing its ability to provide tailored management services and meet the increasing demand for luxury air travel. By combining the resources and networks of both companies, Executive Fliteways is poised to deliver an unparalleled level of service and convenience to its discerning clientele.
The acquisition is a significant milestone for EFI, underscoring its commitment to expansion and growth in the market. The purchase involves the full control of ExcelAire’s fleet of managed jets on its Part 135 Charter Certificate. These aircraft will eventually be transitioned to EFI’s certificate and bring to twenty the number of aircraft under management. In addition, EFI acquired ExcelAire’s Part 145 Repair Station, giving EFI the ability to grow its in-house maintenance capabilities exponentially, which will provide its managed aircraft owners with improved cost control and less down time due to maintenance.
To allow for this growth at its Long Island MacArthur Airport based location, EFI committed to a longterm lease with Hawthorne Global Aviation Services for its recently constructed hangar and offices, a total of 80,000 square feet of combined space. Clients can look forward to using the state-of-the-art Hawthorne Global FBO for both departures and arrivals.
