Riverside is a neighborhood/section in the town of Greenwich in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 8,416. The Greenwich, Conn., neighborhood of Riverside, so named because the Mianus River forms its western border down to Long Island Sound, is really two neighborhoods when it comes to home prices. Interstate 95 is the dividing line, as it cuts across Riverside and the section to the south, closer to the Sound and the rail station, has the higher prices. Above the highway, properties can still be had for under $1 million, but as one heads south, finding something under $2 million is a challenge.
