Now retired from the airlines, O.J. looks to share his experience and background knowledge of 40+ years of flying and at the same time review and update the rules and procedures that are necessary in the current aviation environment.
Ground Instruction, a requirement for safety reasons, is a very important part of flight training in general. "I know from experience that each time I went to a recurrent training, requal, or new aircraft class I always left with new information and was reminded of some things, previously learned, that had faded from my memory because it was not used on a daily basis. An instructor not only teaches rules and procedures, but gathers practical information from the students' experiences that can be shared in the classroom environment with others." We welcome O.J.
