“We have a Falcon 50 already and it’s a great charter aeroplane; it’s very comfortable for eight passengers, it’s got great range and short field performance and it’s an incredibly reliable aeroplane.”
The aircraft will mostly be used for trips to the west coast of the US, though it will make occasional flights to Europe and the Caribbean.
Although the addition of the Falcon 50 signals growth for Executive Fliteways, Gray is keen to point out that the company will maintain its focus on management. “We don’t particularly want to own aircraft; we do a great job managing other people’s aeroplanes and we’re well known for maximising the revenue generated by the owners’ aircraft.
