ARG-US
Platinum Rating for EFI
|
|
In
October of 2007, the Aviation
Research Group- U.S. (ARG/US)
completed a bi-annual audit
of Executive Fliteways’
flight and maintenance operations
and renewed our Platinum
rating. The ARG/US Platinum
rating is the highest level
awarded in a system that
includes Silver, Gold, and
Gold Plus designations.
Of the more than 3000 FAA
registered Part 135 charter
operators, only 60 |
|
meet
the stringent standards required
to achieve the Platinum rating.
In addition, our company is both
Wyvern and IS-BAO certified.
Executive Fliteways was awarded
the Platinum rating after our
first ARG/US audit in October,
2005. To maintain this rating
we have had to consistently demonstrate
compliance to “Industry
Best Practices.” Additionally,
a charter operator must have implemented
a functional Safety Management
System (SMS). In the near future,
the FAA will require that all
FAR Part 135 charter operators
implement this type of system.
Executive Fliteways has been far
ahead of the curve with a functioning
SMS in place since the fall of
2003.
Ken Gray, the Director of Operations,
has been working closely with
the National Air Transportation
Association (NATA) to develop
a comprehensive list of “Industry
Best Practices” for all
areas of flight and maintenance
operations that will be made available
to all NATA members.
Congratulations to the staff at
Executive Fliteways for this award
and their continued focus on safety.
